Recognition, Respect, and Responsibility & Rewards

Responsibility. Actions to fulfill one’s personal commitments to themselves and their commitments to other persons. A privilege, an honor.

Whose Responsibility is It?

• For one’s wellbeing and personal care: strong nutrition, hydration, 7-hours continuous sleep, challenging exercise?

• For Income spent wisely to buy safe, healthy food and meals. Income and expenses in balance, Bills paid on time?

• Responsive personal relationships? A growing circle of friends who bring pleasure and joy into your life.

For all of us, these are important matters. They demand our consistent and constant responsibility, our daily awareness and actions.

For our Veterans, We The People are Responsible for inspiring new Opportunities for renewal. They deserve new training, assistance, mentorships, and connectivity. New community Life.

Our recently discharged Veterans, Unasked risked their lives, with bravery and courage to defend our Homeland. It’s our Responsibility to support them as they pursue change: new routines, education, careers and relationships.

It’s our choice. Are we Reliable? Trustworthy? Responsible?

Respect. Actions to honor our military:

• Accepting each individual, all ranks and services;
• Listening and responding to their stories;
• Attending community events celebrating their service;
Visiting local VA medcenters to meet and talk with patients;
• Taking a platter of cookies to share for staff, visitors, and patients.
